Answer When trying to run a report in Wi-Q, the following error appears: Page header plus page footer is too large for the page. Error in file C:\DOCUME~1\CICOMP~1\temp_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx{xxxxxxx}.rpt Page Header or footer longer than a page.
Solution: There is a badge printer set up on the computer where you are trying to run the report is set to default. Change the default printer to something other than the badge printer, close the applications, and re-open them. The issue will have resolved and the reports will complete and display properly. |

Additional Information OnGuard/BASIS Symptom When attempting to preview a report before it is printed from System Administration, the report shows up in a strange format. Typically, the page size is very small and only a portion of the data is visible on each page. Resolution This issue usually occurs because the default printer is a badge printer. When generating the preview of a report, the system uses the default printer in Windows. To resolve this issue, change the default printer in Windows to a printer that is configured to print on letter (8.5 x 11 inches) or A4 size paper. |
