|Cause of Transaction
|3rd Party Transaction
There has been a transaction caused by a third party software or device.
All alarm contacts have been returned to normal.
The anti-tamper transaction appears when a controller has had more than 7 unsuccessful credential presentations causing the controller to lockout the reader bezel for 60 seconds.
This transaction will appear when someone with invalid credentials tries to repeatedly gain access to the controller. If this transaction appears, verify the user has access to the lock via a user group or through direct assignment to the reader. If the user does have access, navigate to the 'Readers' tab and right click on the reader selecting Reader Control > Synchronize All Data to update the controller database.
Multiple successive anti-tamper events can be use useful in waking a controller up that has fallen offline and is no longer communicating with the portal gateway.
A credential was presented that does not have access to the controller.
Verify the user has access to the reader either via a user group or a direct assignment to the reader in the software. If the user does have access, navigate to the 'Readers' tab and right-click on the reader selecting Reader Control > Synchronize All Data to update the controller database.
|Attempt (Remote Override)
A credential was presented that does not have access to the controller.
The controller reader mode was temporarily overridden in the software.
Unknown User Type (5)
The WAC/SDC does not have a Weigand type associated with it.
To correct this, navigate to the reader on the 'Readers' tab in the configurator software and click on the affected reader. In the properties window to the right of the screen, locate the configuration section and update the Weigand option with the correct reader type wired to it.
The reader has bootloader firmware currently and still needs a firmware update to the next major release.
Bootloader firmware versions are 3.00.019 to jump firmware on the Wi-Q controllers from 2.0 to 3.0 or 3.1 firmware and 3.01.001 to jump a reader from 3.0 to 3.1 or 3.2 firmware versions.
|Clear Door Open Too Long
The door status contact was in alarm mode and has been returned to the normal state when the door is closed.
|Clear Forced Entry
The door status and latch status monitoring switches are returned to a normal state.
|Clear Latch Stuck
The latch status contact is returned to a normal state and functioning properly.
The controller has successfully connected to the portal gateway.
The controller is attempting to connect to a portal gateway.
The controller is connected to its assigned portal gateway.
|Connect Pass - Remote Override
The controller is connected and locked to a portal gateway and has been sent a Reader Control > Override Access Level command via the software instead of following the default reader mode or the scheduled reader mode.
|Controller Near User Capacity
The controller is nearing the max allowable credentials assigned to it. For 3.1/3.2 firmware, that number is 14,000 credentials.
Users with more than 1 badge or a badge and keypad code will count multiple times. For example, a cardholder (user) that has 2 badges and a keypad code will have 3 credentials and count 3 times toward the 14,000 credential limit.
|Controller Reached User Capacity
The controller has the max number of credentials assigned to it. For 3.1/3.2 firmware, that number is 14,000 credentials. Users with more than 1 badge or a badge and keypad code will count multiple times. For example, a cardholder (user) that has 2 badges and a keypad code will have 3 credentials and count 3 times toward the 14,000 credential limit.
|DLP Supervision Fault
|There is a fault in the door latch supervision switch. This could be a bad switch or a broken wire.
|Door Latch Open
Door latch contact has been open longer than the configured time.
This could indicate malfunction of the latch or the latch has been taped open. If this is a persistent alarm adjust the shunt delay time in the reader controls.
|Door Open Too Long
The door status contact is open longer than the allotted time.
Adjust the shunt delay time on the 'Readers' tab in the Wi-Q AMS configurator software under reader controls if this becomes a persistent alarm.
|DPS Supervision Fault
There is a fault in the door position switch.
This could be a bad door position switch or a broken wire.
A credential has been presented to the controller and has been granted access. The user has been assigned access to the reader via a direct reader assignment.
|Entry Group Valid
A valid credential has been presented and access has been granted for the user that is assigned to a user group with time controls and reader access at the time of the credential presentation.
|Entry Group Valid - Remote Override
A valid credential has been presented and access has been granted for the user that is assigned to a user group with time and reader access at the time of the credential presentation, however, the reader is in a door mode other than the default reader mode or the timezone reader mode assigned to the reader.
The reader mode has been overridden in the software
A software command has been issued to allow one-time access to the reader.
|Entry with Low Battery
The credential presented has been assigned access to the reader either through a direct reader assignment or a user group assignment. The reader granted access but has low batteries.
This transaction will display when the battery is in the alarm state but still has enough power to unlock the motor or chassis.
|Failed Card Expired
Access was not granted to the reader because the credential used has expired. Check the user's account for the deactivate date in the software.
|Failed Issue Code
Access was not granted due to the issue code being out of range from what the device was expecting to see. For example, the issue code on the badge is 9 but the Reader is expecting 10.
Resynchronize the data on the lock to update the controller database or re-issue the badge.
|Failed Low Battery Shutdown
Batteries are too low to operate the controller board.
Controllers will enter the failed low battery shutdown state at 4.3V.
|Failed Low Battery Warning
Entry was granted but the batteries are to low to operate the motor or chassis.
Battery levels at 4.7V or lower will generate this error. The batteries should be changed in the lock. The controllers require AA Alkaline batteries. Please do not use lithium or rechargeable batteries.
|Failed Invalid Card
A card or keypad code without access
|Failed Segment or Agency Code
Access was not granted because the card's facility code is not part of an active card format assigned to the reader.
|The pin code is invalid.
|FIPS Connected Pass
The reader with FIPS enabled as connected to the assigned portal gateway.
|Failed Group Violation
The cardholder has access to the reader via a timezone controlled group assignment but has tried the card outside of permitted timezone.
|Firmware Update Failed
The reader firmware update was unsuccessful. This could be due to a signal strength issue, low battery, or the controller is unable to receive the firmware sent by the software.
The door contact has been disrupted and access granted or request to exit event has not occurred.
|Group Level Change Disabled
The user group is timezone enabled and the users access to the readers in that group is temporarily disabled as it is outside of the timezone.
|Group Level Change Enabled
The user group is timezone enabled and the users access to the readers in that group is temporarily enabled.
|Input Point Normal (Active)
If the user column has Active I/O state the relay has been activated and is not in a normal position for the reader listed.
|Input Point Normal (Inactive)
If the user column has Inactive I/O state, the previously activated relay is no longer active and back in its default state.
Key monitoring is enabled on the controller and a key was used to unlock the door instead of a valid credential.
The motor failed.

|Portal Firmware Update
The portal received and updated the firmware successfully.
|Portal Taken Offline
The portal is marked offline by the software.
Possible reasons the portal is marked offline are:
The software has marked the portal online.
The portal has resumed communication with the Wi-Q Communication Service and is communicating in it's assigned segment.
|Reader Firmware Update
The controller firmware update was successful.
The controller has power, signed into its segment, and is marked online in the software.
|Reader Taken Offline
The reader is marked offline in the software.
The possible reason the reader is marked offline are:
|Request To Exit
Request to exit is being monitored on the controller by a switch on the hardware. The switch has been activated.
|Set Access Level (Level Name)
The access level has changed for the reader listed.
Access Levels can be:
The controller is receiving time and date information from the Communication Service.
The date and time on the server where the communication is installed will be the date and time on the controller.
|Update Card Formats
The controller is receiving the card format(s) assigned to it in the software. The controller can store up to 16 card formats.
Segment information is being sent to the door controller.
|Update User Parameters
The controller is receiving all assigned user credentials.
|Update Input Points
When the I/O information is changed and successfully sent to the controller.
|Update Segment Parameters
The controller is receiving segment information from the software.
This includes the sign on credentials.
Wi-Q will save up to 1 keypad credential and 4 card sign-on credentials. If these credentials are deleted from the software, the controllers will stop communicating and should be signed back in. If more than 4 cards are added to the segment, the previous card's set up to attached controllers to the segment will cease to be a valid sign-on token.
The controller is receiving timezone assignments from the software.
The Wi-Q controller has a limit of 16 timezones enabled user groups and access levels and 512 timezones total.
|Using Battery as Power Source
A power supply is not providing power any longer and the backup batteries are providing the power to the reader.
Only applicable to the Omnilock controllers and older model WAC's\SDC's.

A power supply is providing power to the controller.
