How do I create a Wi-Q Manager card in OnGuard Wi-Q Interface?

Answer

1. Set up a fake online access panel in OnGuard in installations where there are no online Access Panels already created. *This will enable user commands in Access Levels.
2. Create an Access Level – Manager Permissions
3. Assign WiQ readers and appropriate time zone to the Manager Permission Access Level.
4. Click on the User Commands tab on the access level.
5. Place a check in the Command Authority checkbox.
6. Assign the access level to the user cards that need manager access.

Additional Information

Please Note: If you give manager Permissions to users, they will also have the ability to deep reset a controller. This is not desirable as your users can accidentally deep reset readers by swiping their cards and then holding down the request to exit.  This needs to be explained thoroughly to those setting up manager permissions and to those who will have it on their cards.
