Answer If your Best electronic lock is using a shrink wrapped battery pack we recommend using the Best battery pack “VPD-BB” for any product currently made, such as EZ, Offline V or G and WiQ. Our battery packs are made to a very high standard that meet all of the specs that our locks require. After-Market battery packs may use sub-par batteries, they may be damaged during the soldering process or they may not meet our requirements of the lock to function properly. Bad battery packs can cause multiple symptoms and failure modes. So it is always advisable to try a Best battery pack if you are having issues before extensive troubleshooting or determining that the lock is bad.
