How many wires will my electrified 9KW, 45HW, and IDH MAX (9KM/45HM) lock have?

Answer

They will always have 4 wires (red and black = power, green and orange = data)

9KW

• 2 power wires (black = 24V and yellow = 12V)
• 3 RQE wires (Orange, Green, and Brown)- Only 2 wires will be used at the hinge

45HW

• 2 power wires (blue = 24V and yellow = 12V)
• 4 RQE wires (2 sets of brown and orange)- Only 2 wires will be used at the hinge
• 2 DS wires (white)
• 2 LS wires (purple)

RQE, DS, and LS are optional for the 9KW and 45HW
RQE = Request to Exit
DS = Door Status
LS = Latch Status
