The customers upgrade codes are missing since upgrading WAMS/Wi-Q from 2.0 to 3.0. How can we get new upgrade codes?

Wi-Q 3.00.32 limits the upgrades to 16 readers per portal gateway. Please call Customer Service or Technical support for new upgrade codes.

Wi-Q 3.0.38 and higher has the ability to upgrade the licenses without codes.  in configurator, click on the File drop down menu and select System Upgrades.

  1. Click on the Reader upgrade and the Portal Gateway radio buttons.  Click on the 'Upgrade All' links to force the upgrade.
  2. Click on the 'Force all Reader to Max Capacity' check box and click the 'Finish' button to apply the changes.
  3. The Capacity and Usage amounts should be updated to Licensed Upgraded Unlimited.
