Answer Check the passage mode check box on the BASIS cardholder’s badge. Each cardholder with access to the Wi-Q readers with passage mode enabled will have manager permissions on the Wi-Q readers. |

Additional Information Manager permissions on Wi-Q readers have the ability to reset, deep reset, and change reader modes on Wi-Q readers. Please make the cardholders with manager permissions aware that they should not hold the Request to Exit, inside handle or crash bar, down as doing so will after a granted access from their badge will deep reset the reader. This will make the reader restore to factory defaults until it is signed back into the segment. |
