How do I deep reset my BASIS offline lock to factory reset?

Answer

Pre-2013 Board (Old Board)

1. Remove the main battery pack and the backup battery.
2. Wait 60 seconds.
3. Reconnect the main battery pack first.
4. Reconnect the backup battery last.

2013+ UVC Board

1. Leave the batteries connected.
2. Press and hold the top button on the circuit board.
3. While holding the top button, press the bottom button.
4. Release both buttons.

Additional Information

Reset Confirmation – Old Board

After reconnecting the batteries, the lock will confirm the reset by flashing red and green lights and producing audible beeps.

Reset Confirmation – UVC Board

Both red and green lights will turn on solid for approximately 10 seconds. The lights will then turn off, and about 15 seconds later both lights will flash with an audible tone to confirm the reset.
