When I swipe my card I get green lights and beeping?

This article explains the indicator behavior when a BEST Offline lock or WiQ WDC reader battery is low and needs replacement.

Answer

If you observe the indicator pattern described below, the device battery is in a low battery warning state and should be replaced soon.

Low Battery Indicator

  • 3 green lights
  • 3 audible beeps
  • Occurs when a valid credential is presented
  • The lock will remain unlocked after approximately 3 seconds

This behavior indicates that the battery still has enough power for operation, but replacement should be scheduled to avoid future lockouts.
