How do I program my Keypad EZ?

NOTE: The answer below applies to the Keypad EZ series.

Steps to Programming Keypad EZ

1. Begin programming mode
   1. Enter 00# 9998#
   2. See page 23 of the Keypad EZ Programming Guide linked below if you prefer to use the * key instead of the # key
2. Change Administrator PIN
   1. Enter 20# [any 4 numbers]# [same 4 numbers]#
   2. Example: 20# 3197# 3197#
3. Add PINs
   1. Enter 10# [any 4 numbers]# #
   2. Example: 10# 4994# #
   3. Note: You can repeat this sequence, changing the four numbers each time, up to 1000 times
4. End programming mode
   1. Enter 99#
5. Record codes used
   1. Use the Lock Group and User Record on page 31 of the Keypad EZ Programming Guide linked below to record the PINs that you added
   2. Record the Administration code in a separate place
   3. Secure both logs
