Why is my Arm-A-Dor beeping at me twice every few seconds?

Answer

The unit may be wired incorrectly. It may have been configured for hard-wired power in addition to battery power.

Solution

1. Disconnect the hard-wired power.
2. Remove the batteries. 
3. Wait 15 minutes to reset the unit. 
4. Reconnect the hard-wired power.
5. Reinstall the batteries.
6. Remove the batteries again.
7. Remove the push bar. 
8. Locate the circuit board and set all DIP switches to the OFF position. 
9. Allow the unit to reset, then reinstall the push bar.
