What should I do if my BEST/PHI/Precision 2000 Series MLR is beeping 5 or 7 times?

Answer 

The MLR needs to be recalibrated. 

Steps to recalibrate it

1. Remove the end cap and filler plate.
2. Set the calibration switch on the end of the motor to "ON". 
3. Do the following: 
   1. Press the touchbar to the desired setting: partially or fully depressed. 
   2. While depressing the touchbar, apply power, or present a credential to the reader. 
   3. Continue to keep the touchbar depressed, and the device will beep six times. After the beeps have stopped, release the touchbar. 
   4. Set the calibration switch on the end of the motor to "OFF".
4. Test the device. 
5. Slide the filler plate back onto the device.
6. Reinstall the end cap.
