What is the PRECISION APEX 2000?

  • The APEX 2000 is a heavy-duty Grade 1 exit device.

  • It is known for strength and reliability.

  • Working mechanisms are encased in solid brass, bronze, aluminum, or stainless steel with true architectural finishes.

  • The APEX 2100 rim device has completed 10 million operational cycles, far exceeding the 500,000 cycles required by Grade 1 standards.

Are mullions available to order for APEX 2000 double door rim applications?

Yes. The 822 and 811 Series mullions are available for these applications.
 

Are there electrified options available for the APEX 2000?

Yes. There are seven electrified options:

  • Exit Alarm (ALK)

  • Delayed Egress (DE)

  • Door Position Monitoring Switch (DS)

  • Electric Device (E)

  • Electric Latch Retraction (ELR)

  • Latchbolt Monitoring Switch (LS)

  • Touchbar Monitoring Switch (TS)
     

What door thickness range can the APEX 2000 accommodate?

Standard doors: 1 ¾” – 2 ¼”. Thicker doors are available on request.
 

What door height range can the APEX 2000 accommodate?

The APEX 2000 SVR fits doors 6’8” – 10’ tall.
 

What door width range can the APEX 2000 accommodate?

The APEX 2000 fits doors 2’6” – 4’ wide.
 

What exit trims are available to order for the APEX 2000?

Vandal-resistant lever, knob, and pull trims are available. The vandal-resistant lever does not require lever reset.
 

What lever styles are offered for APEX 2000 trims?

There are four standard lever styles (A, B, C, D) plus 20 decorative lever styles.
 

Do you have to specify handing when ordering an APEX 2000?

Yes, you must specify handing, although most devices are field reversible.
 

What keyways are available to order on the APEX 2000?

Cylinders are not included and must be ordered separately. The APEX 2000 accommodates most manufacturers’ rim and mortise cylinders.
 

What finishes are offered for the APEX 2000?

The APEX 2000 is available in seven finishes: 605, 606, 612, 613, 625, 628, and 630.
 

What is the lead time for an APEX 2000?

The average lead time is less than two weeks.
 

What warranty does the APEX 2000 have?
