How do I determine what cylinder is needed with the PHI products.

Answer

The standard 1-1/4" rim cylinder is used unless you have one of the following, in which case you will need a mortise cylinder with a straight cam.

• 2300 Device (Apex)
• 2310 has 1 mortise cylinder on the inside and 1 rim cylinder on the outside.
• An alarm kit (ALK, ALW, WALW)
• Delayed Egress (DE)
• Cylinder Dogging (CD)
• 2908 Trim (Apex)
• 808 Trim (Reliant)
• Olympian 300 series

Additional Information

When a mortise cylinder is used, the standard BEST 1E74-C4 is used.  This cylinder is 1 1/4' with a straight cam.
