Answer The D4990 installation on the push side of the door requires the Arm to be perpendicular to the wall. Shifting the boot to the right will cause the operator to not open the door all of the way. Please see the image below for detailed information on how to properly install it. On the pull side of the door, the installation will be as indicated in the image below.
