Answer

1. Confirm whether the ALK device is fire-rated. 

   • If the device is fire-rated, it cannot be dogged down for safety and code-compliance reasons.
   • If the device is not fire-rated, proceed to the next steps.

2. Turn the alarm to the OFF position using the key.

3. Fully depress the touch bar on the device.

4. Turn the key to the OFF position
